§ 04.2Services / Wholesale Supply
Same grade.
Load after load
after load.
At volume, the thing that matters is not price — it is consistency. A reconditioner whose grade A- means something different in March than it did in January will cost you more in rejected units and line stoppages than you ever saved on the unit price.

§ 04.2.1How we hold grade
Consistency is a process, not a promise.
Four mechanisms keep a grade stable across loads and across months. None of them is remarkable — which is exactly why it is odd that the industry so often skips them.
01
Written grade criteria
Our grading scale is a controlled document with specific condition thresholds, not a technician's judgement call. It is published in full on the size guide so you can hold us to it.
02
Single grading team
One team, one building, one standard. No distributed network applying five interpretations of the same letter.
03
Second-pair check at staging
Every wholesale load is re-checked against the ordered grade by a different person before it is loaded. Mis-grades are caught here, not at your dock.
04
Pre-dispatch photographs
We photograph the actual staged units on every load. You see what is coming before the trailer leaves, every time, not just on the first order.

§ 04.2.2Supply arrangements
Three ways to buy at volume.
Which one suits you depends mostly on how predictable your demand is and how much warehouse space you have.
| Arrangement | Commitment | Price basis | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spot load | None | Load-by-load quote | Irregular or one-off demand |
| Standing order | Monthly volume | Fixed per-unit for the term | Predictable monthly consumption |
| Call-off contract | Annual volume | Tiered by cumulative volume | Large users with variable timing |
Standing orders and call-off contracts both lock a grade definition as well as a price, which is the part that saves you money over a year.
What a standing order gives you
- A fixed per-unit price for the term, insulated from spot-market movement
- Reserved allocation — your units are racked for you, not sold out from under you
- A locked grade definition held for the duration of the contract
- Scheduled delivery dates set at the start of each month
- Priority on grade A- stock, which is the grade that runs short
- Payment terms
- Net 30 on approved account
- Grade mixing
- Permitted on any load, shown on the manifest
- Capacity mixing
- 275 and 330 gal on one trailer
- Lead time
- 3–7 days spot; scheduled on contract
- Mis-grade remedy
- Replacement or credit, your choice
§ 04.2.3The two-way arrangement
The cheapest wholesale price involves your empties.
If you are buying reconditioned stock at volume, you are also generating empties at volume. Netting the two is the single largest lever on your effective unit price, and it removes a freight leg entirely.
- Delivery trailer arrives loaded, departs loaded with your empties
- One freight movement instead of two in each direction
- Buy-back credited against the supply invoice
- Your retired cages feed our rebottling line, which feeds your next load
- Reclaim Ledger certificate covering both directions
§ 04.2.4Wholesale, questioned
Before you commit volume.
What happens if you can't supply my contracted volume?
We tell you as early as we know, and we tell you what we can supply instead — usually a grade substitution at the lower price, or a partial load with the balance scheduled. What we will not do is quietly ship a lower grade and hope nobody checks.
Is grade A- always available?
It is the grade that runs short, because it depends on intake quality we do not control. Standing orders and call-off contracts get priority allocation on A- specifically for this reason. Grades B and B- are effectively always available.
Can you hold stock for us?
On a standing order, yes — reserved allocation is racked against your account. We do not offer open-ended free storage on spot purchases, because racking space is the constraint on our whole operation.
Do you supply to distributors who resell?
Yes, and we will not undercut you into your own customer. If you are reselling our stock, tell us the accounts you are developing and we will route enquiries from them to you.
Can you deliver direct to our customers?
Drop-shipping on your behalf, with your paperwork, is something we do for several distributors. Discuss it at account setup so we get the documentation right.
