A $14 gasket
can save a
$180 tote.
More totes are retired for a failed valve or a perished gasket than for anything wrong with the bottle. Repairing a unit is cheaper than replacing it, faster than ordering one, and — since there is no manufacturing involved at all — the single lowest-carbon thing in this entire catalog.

§ 03.6.1The catalog
Six groups, and the parts within them.
If a part is not listed, ask anyway. We hold a large reclaimed-component inventory that is impossible to catalogue completely, and there is a good chance the awkward fitting you need is in a bin here.
P-01
Discharge valves
The part that fails most often and the cheapest thing to replace. We stock the common configurations and the awkward ones.
- 2" polypropylene ball valve, buttress outlet
- 2" PP ball valve, NPT outlet
- 3" butterfly valve, buttress outlet
- 2" stainless ball valve for aggressive media
- Camlock-fitted valve assemblies
- Valve handle retrofits and lockouts
P-02
Caps, lids & closures
Fill-opening hardware across the thread standards actually found in the reclaimed population.
- 6" buttress cap, vented
- 6" buttress cap, solid with gasket
- 6" screw cap with tamper-evident ring
- 9" lid assemblies for wide-mouth bottles
- Dust caps for discharge outlets
- Breather and pressure-relief caps
P-03
Gaskets & seals
Chemical compatibility lives here. The wrong gasket material is the single most common cause of a leak on an otherwise sound tote.
- EPDM — general aqueous chemistry, standard fit
- Viton (FKM) — aggressive solvents, fuels, acids
- Silicone — food contact, high temperature
- PTFE-envelope — broad chemical resistance
- Buna-N (NBR) — oils and petroleum products
- Full gasket kits per unit
P-04
Adapters & fittings
For connecting a buttress outlet to whatever your plant actually uses.
- 2" buttress to NPT male adapter
- 2" buttress to garden-hose thread
- 2" buttress to camlock, Type A through F
- 3" to 2" reducing adapters
- Quick-disconnect dispensing couplers
- Drum and tote pump adapter sets
P-05
Structural components
Reclaimed and new hardware for repairing a unit instead of replacing it.
- Cage sections and repair panels
- Plastic pallet bases, 48" × 40"
- Steel pallet bases
- Composite pallet bases
- Cage-to-pallet fixings
- Corner protectors and impact guards
P-06
Handling & dispensing
Everything around the tote rather than on it.
- Gravity dispensing stands and tilt frames
- Band and blanket heaters, 120 V and 240 V
- Clamp-on and lid-mount mixers
- Secondary containment pallets and bunds
- Forklift tote tippers
- Level gauges and sight tubes
§ 03.6.2The part that matters most
Gasket compatibility, properly tabulated.
Get this wrong and a structurally perfect tote leaks. This table covers the compounds we stock against the media classes we see most.
| Media class | EPDM | Viton (FKM) | Silicone | PTFE | Buna-N | Temp limit |

| Dilute acids | Good | Excellent | Fair | Excellent | Fair | 200 °F |

| Caustics & bases | Excellent | Fair | Fair | Excellent | Fair | 250 °F |

Ratings are general guidance for short-term contact at ambient temperature. Concentration, temperature and contact duration all shift these results, and trace components can dominate. Always verify against your own product data.
Repair before replace
A tote whose only defect is a chemically attacked valve is a fully serviceable container with a forty-dollar problem. Before you retire a unit, check the following — the fix is almost always cheaper than the replacement, and it carries no manufacturing carbon at all.
- Does it leak at the valve body, or at the gasket behind it? The gasket is the cheaper fix.
- Is the fill cap seal perished? A new cap and gasket is a ten-minute job.
- Is the cage deformed enough to prevent stacking, or just scratched? Scratches are cosmetic.
- Is a pallet foot cracked? Pallet bases are separately replaceable on most formats.
- Does the bottle hold pressure? If yes, nothing else on the unit is unfixable.

The most-replaced component by a wide margin.
Beyond the small part itself.
EPDM, Viton, silicone, PTFE, Buna-N, plus kits.
One gasket is a perfectly acceptable order.
Thread standards you will meet
- 6" buttress
- The dominant fill-opening standard on composite IBCs
- 2" buttress
- Common discharge outlet thread
- NPT
- US tapered pipe thread — needs an adapter from buttress
- Camlock
- Quick-connect, types A–F; adapter required
- Tri-clamp
- Sanitary standard, mostly on stainless units
§ 03.6.3Parts, questioned
Ordering and fitting.
Is there a minimum order for parts?
No. A single gasket is a legitimate order and we will ship it. Put it in the form with Quantity 1 and we will come back with a price including shipping.
How do I know which valve my tote takes?
Measure the outlet thread diameter and tell us whether it is a coarse buttress thread or a tapered pipe thread. A photograph of the outlet is usually enough for us to identify it. The fittings reference has the identification guide.
Do you sell reclaimed parts or new ones?
Both. Gaskets and seals are always new — a used seal is a false economy. Valve bodies, caps, cage sections and pallet bases are available reclaimed at a substantial discount or new where you need the certainty.
Can you fit the parts for me?
Yes, if the unit is here. Our reconditioning service includes valve, gasket and cap replacement as standard, and cage straightening and pallet replacement on request.
The cheapest reclaim there is
Fix the tote you already have.
No freight, no manufacturing, no grading. Just the part. Tell us what failed and we'll tell you what it needs.
