§ 01.3Company / Facility & Network
16751 Lathrop Ave.
Everything happens here.
Harvey, Illinois sits where the Chicago rail belt meets I-57, I-80 and I-294. That geography is why a tote collected in Georgia and a tote collected in Oregon can both land on the same wash line and still make commercial sense.

§ 01.3.1Inside the building
Seven stations, laid out in the order a tote moves.
The floor plan follows the process, not the other way around. A unit travels in one direction from the intake dock to the outbound dock, and the only units moving backwards are the ones that failed something.
Station 1–2
Intake & grading
Covered intake dock, weigh pad, sealed quarantine pad, individual grading bays with cage geometry jigs.
Station 3
Residue handling
Compatibility-segregated heel capture, profiling bench, consolidation totes for licensed outbound.
Station 4
Wash line
Triple-rinse, caustic and solvent circuits, high-temperature food-grade circuit on separated water.
Station 5
Test rig
Pressure and leak test with hold phase, 100% of reuse units, logged against lot and serial.
Station 6
Rebottling & assembly
Cage straightening press, new-bottle drop-in, valve and gasket fitting, UN/DOT recertification bench.
Station 7
Granulation & hot wash
Granulator, hot-wash tank, dewatering and pelletizing into traceable recycled HDPE.
Fabrication
Upcycled builds
Cutting, fitting and finishing bay for rain harvesters, sumps, planters and waterers.
Outbound
Staging & dispatch
Graded racking, food-grade segregated racking, load staging and the freight desk.
§ 01.3.2Freight
Lanes, minimums and lead times — published.
Most reconditioners make you call to find out whether they will come to you. Here is the actual answer.
| Band | Radius | Minimum pickup | Typical lead time | Freight |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A | 0–150 mi | 4 totes | 2–4 business days | Included |
| B | 150–350 mi | 12 totes | 3–6 business days | Included at 24+ |
| C | 350–800 mi | 24 totes | 4–8 business days | Included at 48 |
| D | 800–1,500 mi | 48 totes | 5–10 business days | Quoted per lane |
| E | 1,500 mi+ | 48 totes | 7–14 business days | Quoted per lane |
Bands are indicative. A partial load on a lane we already run can beat every number in this table — always ask, because our empty backhauls are your cheapest freight.

§ 01.3.3Why Harvey

A distributed network looks impressive on a map and destroys traceability in practice. Five sites means five grading standards, five wash recipes and five versions of the truth about what was in the bottle.

- Interstate
- I-57 · I-80 · I-294 within 6 miles
